About Fatima Energy Limited

Fatima Group, being a dynamic and progressive organization, constantly reviewed international market sectors to explore new avenues of investment opportunities for the growth of industry in Pakistan. In 2008, they identified a challenging potential in the power sector with a vision to contribute to the country’s starved power sector by developing a power generation plant to efficiently utilize bagasse from its associated Fatima Sugar Mills.

They approached reputable international power consultants and finally signed an agreement with a French consulting firm, CdF Ingenerie, which has extensive experience in the design and construction of bagasse-based power plants over a period of 25-30 years. Based on the highly professional and experienced consultancy, state-of-the-art equipment was selected and procured, mainly from European and Western origin. The construction was carried out by one of the largest and most reputable Chinese companies. The power plant was constructed and completed in 2016.
